About Pat

Thank you for considering me in your search for a Licensed Professional Counselor.  It is my belief that a well-lived life is one that is lived with intention, and embraces on-going self-reflection aimed at continuing  positive personal growth.  As your Counselor, I am dedicated to working along side you in an effort to help you discover behaviors, mindsets, and/or stumbling blocks that may be interfering with your becoming all you were created to be.  

I was born and raised in Ohio but moved to Texas in my early 20's.  Even though I wasn't born here, I consider Texas my  home.  I had a career in the corporate world, and raised a family before embarking on my career in professional counseling in 2006.  I graduated with honors from two Texas universities:  Texas Woman's University, Bachelor of Social Work and Amberton University, Master of Arts in Professional Counseling.  I have certifications in EMDR Therapy and Clinical Hypnosis.   Although I use several therapeutic styles / theories in my counseling practice, my overall approach is from a Christian Biblical perspective.

In my free time, I enjoy reading (especially selections from Christian authors or Biblical studies as well as mystery novels) and spending time with friends.
