Hipaa Policy
Confidentiality is a crucial part of the counseling process and provides an environment in which clients can feel safe in sharing very personal information. ALL information between the therapist and client cannot be disclosed to anyone else without the prior written permission of the client. The confidentiality guidelines adhered to by this office are a part of the Counseling Agreement & Informed Consent document required to be read and completed by each new client. This document, which clearly defines possible limits to confidentiality, is included on this website for your prior perusal. All clients are encouraged to keep a copy of their executed document for their own edification and future referral.
